Use your Talking Strip, the Recount Roll and Share or Alphabet Key (grab one from the wall or click the image to do a doc version) to help you with ideas and plan your writing.
Planning and Organising Writing
Once you've got your ideas you might need some help planning and organising them into a quality recount. Use these to help you. You can either grab a paper one from the wall or click on the image to do a doc version.
Structuring your recount
Let's get started with the Holiday Map
Right, let's get started! Like last term you will need to create plot your holiday on our group maps. There are different people linked to each map so find the map with your name on it. In your layer of the map, place pins to show where and what you did during your holidays. Write a brief description of what you did for each pin - you can add an appropriate picture to your pin too. If you can't remember how to add your pin or get a bit stuck check out this video.
Singa, Piper, Emily, Caleb, Tama, Maikyla, Skyla, Liam E, Charlie, Leah have used this map. Click on the map to see their taster of their holiday break then come back here and click their name to link to their recount.
Ryan, Paige, Isla, James, Callum, Korbyn, Isabelle, Jacob, Liam Y, Alycia have used this map. Click on the map to see their taster of their holiday break then come back here and click their name to link to their recount.

Now create your recount in your Teacher Check folder so Mrs Corcoran can help you if you get stuck. When your recount has been checked, edited and is finished, it can be added as a link on the map.
